Landon Spicer is a writer, director, cinematographer, and producer whose path into filmmaking has been anything but traditional. He first discovered a passion for visual storytelling in high school, producing a public-access television show with a friend that showcased short films by other high school kids. Years later, he returned to media production with a renewed focus, creating "In the Corner", a documentary-style series highlighting up-and-coming boxers and their journeys through the fight game.

The success of the series led Spicer to launch LVE Streaming, a Roku and FireTV-based streaming network that produced and live streamed boxing events while providing a platform for independent content creators.

Determined to transition into narrative filmmaking, Spicer returned to film school at age 39 to pursue a career as a cinematographer. Since then, he has focused on developing original projects across multiple genres, combining entrepreneurial experience with a hands-on approach to production.

After writing his first feature screenplay, Spicer went on to direct the film, marking his debut as a feature director. Looking ahead, he plans to continue writing, directing, and serving as cinematographer on his and others’ projects.

His work is driven by a belief that independent filmmakers no longer need to wait for permission to tell ambitious stories. Through a combination of practical filmmaking, emerging technology, and relentless self-education, Spicer continues to build a body of work focused on original voices and independent production.
